Conversion of an existing stable building to form a contemporary home on a site located on the hillside, above the town of Brodick, on the Isle of Arran.  

The design inserts a new timber structure, expressed externally, within the existing stone walls of the former stable building to create a new two-bedroom home, over two levels.  The upper level forms an open plan living space, with full length glazing taking advantage of the views overlooking the bay of Brodick and across to Goat Fell.
